Live Media Group is a student startup that operates as a global Chinese creative writing platform, connecting students across 8 universities through a shared commitment to creativity and cultural expression.
OVERVIEW
My work at Live Media Group
As head of UI/UX at LMG, I managed design and user experience for student teams across 8 universities in the US, UK, and Canada, leading 30+ designers and setting design standards. Additionally, I coordinated with operations and HR through weekly company meetings.

I also played a key role in developing the original business plan for Live Media Group, collaborating closely with the founder to shape its vision and strategy. Our plan was presented to investors, serving as a foundation for securing funding and outlining the company's growth trajectory.
Web Design
To better represent our company, I, along with another designer, Sophia Wu from NYU, initiated the design of the LMG official site. We collaborated closely with two developers to bring the site to life, communicating via Zoom and working together through Figma.
